Jonathan Shafer

Mr. Shafer first entered the staffing services area in 1988 when he joined the Midtown Employment Agency. He made the switch to the Information Technology industry when he joined the New York office of Arthur Andersen LLP in 1993. Mr. Shafer left Arthur Andersen as an IT manager for an opportunity to consult with Remy Amerique and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

In 1997 Mr. Shafer was hired at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York where he held positions of increasing responsibility. From 1997 through 2005 he directed the activities of several client services teams responsible for a myriad of end user and infrastructure services including desktop engineering, thin client computing, email and calendaring services, and document management.

Moving to Bristol Myers Squibb in 2005. Mr. Shafer directed the activities of a team responsible for global voice and data network infrastructure.Combining Mr. Shafer's experience in the employment, consulting and IT industries, he founded Technology Initiatives - "A firm created by IT professionals for IT professionals."
